We are the Neo-Sapiens. Bow down before us.
Hello to all those naysayers out there who thought that I'd never update this blog; I'd completely forgotten about it... UNTIL I passed by the JBP Library, and seeing as I pass the JBP on most days, having it as a reminder should serve to facilitate my blogging.
Anyways, more stuff (as usual) arrived for me today; three items from eBay and a DVD. Essentially, I'm now in possession of boxed original PAL copies of both Sonic 3 and Sonic and Knuckles, a calculator from the 1970s (made by the long-dead british technology conglomerate Commodore) and possibly the finest live-action film to come out of Japan this century, Casshern. Of course, being the klutz that I am, I checked my mail last thing before going to a lecture, so I now have vast amounts of goodies sitting in a box beside me, and demaning to be arried home without me dropping any of it. Ah well, it was easier than carrying all the stuff there; a box and three loose jiffy bags; yes, the reception aren't even willing to give us elastic bands these days!
News wise, all of this is Negligable. The real news is that, known very well by all of my associates in Leek, I went home for the weekend, plannintg to use stuff from my room to fill my visual diary project, which, at the moment, is somewhat lacking in stuff. This was somewhat disabled by the fact that, despite me ordering my parents to stay out of my room while I'm at university, the entire thing had been cleaned out and redecorated, and is now awaiting a console-friendly storage unit (designed by yours truly) and a sofa from eBay. Good news for me, but not for my visual diary, so I spent the rest of the weekend taking photos and drawing pictures to place in my diary. Much drinking and downloading and Donkey Konga was to be had otherwise.
